On Saturday, March 9, IROST organized a training workshop on  Horizon 2020 of European Research Commission at Amirkabir University.The workshop was well attended by the faculty members, officials , experts and students from universities, technology parks, research institutes and knowledge-based companies.
 
Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020) – in addition to the private investment that this money will attract. It promises more breakthroughs, discoveries and world-firsts by taking great ideas from the lab to the market.
 

Dr.Maryam Ranjbar, IROST’s scientific member of the Institute of Chemical technologies and Maryam Rezaee, IROST’s Senior Expert of International Cooperation were the lecturers of this workshop. The presentations covered the following themes:

 
  • Research fields of high priority
  • Networking and establishment of international research groups
  • Finding the right project calls
  • Proposal writing and EU funding opportunities for research or innovation projects
  • EU framework programme on research and innovation for the years 2021 to 2027
